Job Description:

Oversees the shipment or storage of the shipping containers. Directs employees engaged in storing, issue, shipment and distribution of the shipping containers. Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on projected workload on weekly or monthly bases.  Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site Manager.  Redirects workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate daily workload fluctuations.  Conducts planning of current and future work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations as to the scheduling of projected work.  Ensures work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and condition of the contract.  Uses WMS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS. 



1.   Understand the importance and incorporate risk management and internal controls into the daily operations to combat fraud, waste,            abuse, and mismanagement   
2.   Adhere to Contract Requirements, which includes Audit Sustainment requirements and Standard Operating Procedures 
3.   Responsible for mission compliance to internal controls, results of external and internal audits, End to End inventory accuracy (arrival          of truck, offload, receipt, warehousing, inventory, and issuance of materiel).  
4.   Plan, monitor and react to changing workload and resourcing variables, trend performance and understand what is driving sub-                  standard performance and implementing corrective actions
5.   Empower employees to stop work when there is a problem with any aspect of the process and get engaged to research and correct the        issue, documenting the issue/resolution 
6.   Use documentation on issues for input to assessments on performance
7.   Responsible for ensuring the execution of the accepted Quality Control Plan (QCP), results are reported IAW CDRL A006, QCP and              appropriate performance correction processes.  
8.   Accountable and responsible to ensure employees are trained to perform job task(s) completely, accurately, timely

Experience shall include a minimum of three (3) years of experience in distribution and warehousing using WMS or equivalent automated WMS within the past five (5) years.
