The Janitor will be responsible for keeping assigned areas, such as offices, commercial spaces, industrial spaces, institutional buildings, or other establishments in a clean and orderly condition.
Essential Functions of the Position
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
Assist in special cleaning projects.
Sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures.
Polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
Take direction and respond to supervision.
Support the Cleaning team in completing punch-list items.
Use proper personal protective equipment.
Present a professional appearance and conduct.
Understand reporting systems and the environment.
Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Indoor/Outdoor; exposure to external environmental conditions possible.
Noise levels can range from minimal to intense.
Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Must have strong organizational and group presentation skills.
Well-developed multi-tasking and time management skills.
Must have computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Possess a Valid California driver’ License without special restrictions.
Must be a US citizen.
Must undergo a background check.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Base access and the Common Access Card (CAC)
