This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Production Control Supervisor establishes, manages, and operates a Production, Planning, and Control (PPC) system for all levels of maintenance utilizing the Logistics Information Systems to plan, schedule, control, and process all maintenance requests for repair or service. Receive, verify, input, and edit data associated with the processing of maintenance requests. Prepares documents used for scheduling workload and resources and shall ensure priorities and schedules are met. Ensures input to LIS is accomplished IAW the standards in the PWS.  Maintains schedules based on customer established priority and maintains communications with organization using the same system and those that provide input or receive output from the materiel maintenance LIS. Provides data conversion, document control, and performs analysis in support of the LIS used to accomplish the MMD Mission. Documents all work performed under this contract and maintains records on all work order related documents in accordance with AR 750-1, AR 710-2, and DA Pam 750-8.

Minimum of 5 years of Supervision in Production Control in a maintenance environment, and the ability to prepare necessary documentation (automated and manual) according to assigned LIS (Logistics information System and functional area.
Possess working knowledge of Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) transaction codes and perform the following functions at a minimum: check equipment availability, maintain equipment files, dispatch equipment, add/delete operators, enter equipment faults, schedule equipment maintenance, print dispatch control log, equipment service records, create maintenance work order/task and assign personnel. 
Practical knowledge of a wide range of established maintenance policies and processes, and the ability to apply a variety of common methods and techniques to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency to ensure production goals are met.    
Ability to identify needed remedies or improvements and recommend solutions. 
Skilled in effective oral and written communication to explain regulations, update policy and instructions, conduct investigations, provide program information to management and customers, and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the organization's operation. The employee chooses, interprets, and adapts available guidelines (that often contain conflicting or ambiguous instructions) to specific assignments, and recommends changes to those policies. 
Candidate must be able to perform all the tasks not exclusive of those described in the job description section. 
Must be U.S. citizen and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. 
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently and can clearly and concisely communicate both orally and in writing. 
Must be proficient in the use of computers and MS Office Software. 
Must be able to obtain a CAC and work the assigned shift hours.
