Job Description:

Responsible for Maintenance Division and other Divisionswithin Installation Maint Division general support activities. Work requires afamiliarity with the terminology of the maintenance office. Abilityto select appropriate methods from a wide variety of procedures or makes simpleadaptations and interpretations of a limited number of substantive guides andmanuals. The clerical steps often vary in type or sequence, depending on thetask. Recognized problems are referred to others.

Tasks include assisting in a variety of administrativematters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records (stored bothmanually and electronically); verifying statistical reports for accuracy andcompleteness; compiling information; and handling and adjusting complaints. Allwork is accomplished IAW with the applicable Army regulations, DA PAMs,Technical Manuals, Technical Bulletins, and Repair Manuals.


Requires 5 years’ experience as a General Clerk III.  Ability to identify needed remedies orimprovements, and recommend solutions. Skilled in effective oral and written communication to explainregulations, update policy and instructions, conduct investigations, provideprogram information to management and customers, and coordinate the day-to-dayoperations of the organization's operation. The employee chooses, interpretsand adapts available guidelines (that often contain conflicting or ambiguousinstructions) to specific assignments, and recommends changes to thosepolicies.  Candidate must be able toperform all the tasks not exclusive of those described in the job descriptionsection.   Must be U.S. citizen andpossess a high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently andhave the ability to clearly and concisely communicate both orally and inwriting.   Must be proficient in the useof computers and MS Office Software.  Must be able to obtain a CAC and work the assigned shift hours.  Must possess a valid state driver’s license;may be required to be licensed to operate Government provided vehicle.  This job description is meant to be aguide.  It is not intended to limit inany way the duties an employee may be required to perform.  This job description may be updated at thediscretion of the company.
