Job Description:
The Supply Technician will manage the Installation and Table of Distribution and Allowance(TDA) Property Book.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Supply Technician will provide services in support of asset requisition, receipt, short-term holding, inventory, issue, redistribution, classification, turn-in, maintaining hand receipts/annexes, adjustment reports, reconciliations and serial number and unique item tracking.• The contractor shall use the appropriate property book LIS for transactions, accountability and reporting.• Provide Limited/ Selected Force Modernization Equipment Fielding Support.• Supply Technician will perform these functions in accordance with AR 710-2, DA PAM710-2-1, AR-735-5, CTA 50-909, CIPBO SOP, GCSS-A End User’s Manual (Property Book Functionality), AR 840-10, and AR 25-400-2.• Provide assistance with redistribution of property for installation property book items to include furniture and other property as required and in accordance with the CIPBO SOP.• Accepts and processing lateral transfers that interface with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).• Receive, inspect, classify, store, and dispose of used excess supplies and materiel IN accordance with AR 710-2, STAMIS Manuals, and other applicable regulations.• For turn-ins of more than 15 line items, the Supply Technician will schedule the time for turn-in at the requests of the customer.• Spring and fall cleanup, large building closures, changes in reserve and active Units status, and deployments may significantly increase the number of turn-ins.• Manage and turn-in excess.• Inspect, determine and record the state of serviceability of all property turned in by units or activities.• Note condition code, prepare turn-in documentation for each condition code for all items before requesting disposition instructions.• Will ensure that items with separate classification codes are store in separate locations.• Will place condition Code A and B items in stock and set aside Code H items for future shipment to DRMS
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:• HS/GED with five years related work experience related to Property Book Functions.• Ensure that all tasks are performed safely.• Employee is required to maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and applicable Government/Army license.• Perform other duties as required to support the mission and contractual requirements• Proven planning, organizational and analytical skills EAGLE Fort Lee Collective Bargaining Agreement Page 73 of 80• Knowledge of programs: Army Enterprise System Systems Integration Program (AESIP),Army Readiness Common Operating Picture (AR-COP), Force Management System(FMSWEB) and Global Command Support System (GCSS Army)• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.• Must be able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
